Major sizing flaw

I ordered these shorts in a waist size 34 but what I received seemed more like a size 24!On trying them on I found I was left with an insurmountable gap of nearly 6 inches between button and button hole.There was. no way that these shorts could ever grace a 34 waist.It was the worst example of poor sizing that I have ever come across.It was so bad that I can only assume that there had been a manufacturing flaw or a bad case of wrong labelling. I sent the Company an email setting out the issue and suggesting that they should investigate what had gone wrong with these shorts.I did not get a reply.It is disappointing to get such a poor item from a Company that likes to highlight the quality of its products Needless to say the shorts were rapidly returned for a refund. . . . yes, good fabric, good design, and not lying too much about the actual waist size . . . even better to get them at sale price
