Seabound Print

Couldn’t be happier. Purchased two prints and my first order. And only just got them framed today. The quality of the prints speaks volumes. As such the local picture framer based in Chorley. Mounted both prints without glass. Not what I expected. But on seeing the finished product. The guy was 100% correct. You don’t frame canvases. Glass would have taken away from the picture quality

Beautiful painting and frame. However, unfortunately the alignment of the canvas within the frame is off kilter. Most noticeable at the top, there is a larger gap on the right side than the left, between the top of the canvas and the frame. There is also a slight discrepancy at the bottom. Upon some analysis with a measuring tape, we have found that the frame on which the canvas was stretched must have been made unevenly, with the canvas being slightly larger on one side than the other, perhaps 1 cm. It is disappointing, and while it is subtle enough that it isn't worth the trouble to return it, it does make me hesitate to order again. It is something that had to be obvious to the craftsman who framed the piece, and yet nothing was done about it, making me question quality control.
