Spectre | Trail Short | Turned Earth

Firstly, great brand clearly developed by riders which is why I’ve been looking for an excuse to make a purchase. I’ve been riding for years and I have the same mindset buying kit as I do with my bikes which is function, durability, and fit and these are a class pair of shorts. As described they are lightweight which makes them real comfortable and the material on the back makes them super breathable. Material feels mid-weight toughness and so far have been pretty good on keeping me dry but it is summer! Fit and look are spot on with enough room for oversized quads and the colourway is just lovely. I rode yesterday in them paired with some of the new Rab Cinder under shorts and I’m happy to say that, that combination is close to being the best shorts I’ve used in 30 years. I have only been using them for around a month now but so far 👌 Looking forward to my next ride. Keepon-keepin-on Dfyrs!!

Didn’t realize these are pull on, without a fly. Not the biggest deal but be aware. Really like the fit a lot. Perfect waist and length. Love the ripstop style fabric. About my only slight criticism is the pockets could be deeper, but they’re fine really. Would absolutely buy another pair in a different color. Nice stuff.

Colour- great, fit - great, comfort - excellent Elastic waist - not sold on it, no adjustment, can’t see the point of belt loops Just 2 pockets albeit with quality zips. Wonder how long that elastic will last?
