Absolute Favorite Strings!
Ukulele players are always in constant debate. Flurocarbon vs Nylon. High G vs Low G. Tenor vs Concert. Always a debate around the ukulele and that is healthy. I recently purchased a concert size Bondi Left-Handed Ziricote ukulele that came with Nami Flurocarbon Strings. These are beautiful strings if you fingerpick the ukulele. However, there are a very large number of ukulele players in the world who are "Strummers" and the string preference may be quite different. As a player who mainly strums, I decided to try these concert size Bondi strings and I am so happy I did. They have a very warm and pleasing tone. They also project very well and even with the fantastic low setting of my ukulele (Thank you Bondi) the volume is fantastic. They are easy on the fingers and provide great clarity, avoiding the often "muddy" sound that can sometimes happen with other brands of Nylon strings. They settled very quickly after about five hours of playing time. It has been a few weeks and the more they settle the clearer they sound. I'm so happy that I decided to pair my Bondi ukulele with these Bondi strings. A truly wonderful company. I live in the USA and considering they were delivered from the other side of the world, I received them very quickly and in great condition. This is a company that I will continue to use for all my future purchases and the good folks at Ukemate/Bondi will deliver a high quality product, no matter what your current needs.
