Shampoo and Conditioner bars

I enjoy Rock Bottom's products. I recently purchased the shampoo and conditioner bars. The shampoo bar works very well. The conditioner bar is a little complicated. It's difficult to work with. I'm trying to put into words what I mean, but it's hard to apply. It doesn't soften under warm water and rubbing it into the hair doesn't apply well. My hair seems to do fine with it. It isn't at all dry or difficult to brush after using.the conditioner bar. Maybe a little tweak to the formula would help.
