great soil enhancer
Although a bit expensive, I love the coco coir bricks. The material is a wonderful amendment to my alkaline soil in a dry, hot climate. The coco coir retains water and keeps the soil from compacting. I use it with potting soil for potted plants and straight into the garden beds.
One tip: do not add as much water as recommended or you get coir soup. You can always add more water if the brick doesn't get totally soaked and break up.

coco coir bricks
Love shopping at Pinetree. They have a great variety of seeds and gardening accesories, as well as good prices. As for the coco coir bricks, they did their job. This was the first time I have used them. There is a bit too much fiber in it for me. I prefer to use peat moss. It works well if you like a lot of fiber.

Great to add to soil
I love the convenience of the brick coco coir. I used it up quite quickly, as I start many seeds every year. I would definitely buy them again.
