There are a lot of Ryu's out there at the moment but being an Alpha 2 and MvC fan, this was the only one for me. Excellent sculpt, great and smooth articulation, and you can even balance his hadoken effect in his hands without the stand (with a wee bit of finagling). If I had any criticism it would only be that whereas Ken came with fists, hadoken hands and both a V sign hand and beckoning finger hand, poor old Ryu only has his fists and hadoken hands. But for the quality and the price, you can't really complain, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the Alpha 3 crew. Finally, I'll also mention the excellent service from the Storm UK store - they got him in hand and shipped out brilliantly fast. I've been enjoying this for a month now while folks who ordered from other places are still ages away from receiving theirs.

I already reviewed Ken and everything I said on him applies here to Ryu, so here’s my Ken one… WOW is all I can, how they managed to do all the same they do with their bigger scale at 6’ I don’t know. I love the packaging, such great graphic design with it. As soon as I opened it and took him out I knew he was awesome, he felt exactly like a larger scale on. Same use of soft plastics, same great smooth joints and articulation with some new ones they don’t usually do. Overall for the price and what storm have achieved I can’t fault it and I dare anyone else to either, I can see this whole arena line being amazing

Just Phenomenal!

This Ryu figure is just amazing! I’m blown away by how good these figures are. No other street fighter figure compares in my eyes! Just beautiful. Can not wait for Sagat next!
