Excellent product, wrong retainer.
I had tried a friend's Nexbelt and had worn it for work a few days. The approximately 1/4" adjustments were great as my real leather belt had the standard hole distances and always seemed just a little off, especially when the belt stretched under load or varying conditions. I really wanted a different belt from Nexbelt, but this one was more in my price range. The belt is as advertised and I have used it twice on the range. Much better than my old leather belt in keeping my sidearm tucked to my side and thus less detectable in plainclothes carry. It is more rigid than a simply leather belt, but that is the point. The "micro" adjustments on the buckle help to make this belt way more comfortable than the old "pleather" duty belts-it doesn't always have to be tight and can be easily let out when sitting down or after a great lunch. One disappointment and one thing I'd change. The included belt keeper band that came with my belt appears to be black and not espresso. It stands out like a sore thumb. I would change the Allen head retainers to torx and/or provide a torque recommendation. I'm not considered a gun nut in my circles, but I still own a torque screwdriver. My OCD also makes me want to have keepers TIGHT so they don't fail. The Allen wrench slipped a few times and left a little big of burring around the holes. I need to take it apart and trim a couple more inches off the belt. Hopefully, the Allen/hex holes are still intact enough to allow me to back them out. Overall a really good product for a specific purpose. I'll keep a watchful eye on the brown Crazy Horse Leather belts for any price drops, but I already have a brown belt now and probably will get a gray one next-eventually. Good luck going forward with your business. Mike M.--34 years experience in L.E.

So far so good
Belt is firm. I do use it for EDC, typically carrying tools and keycards. The ratchet works as intended. Big con for me is single stitching. The leather… at least they call it leather, doesn't scratch or scuff like any leather I’ve seen. It’s a good belt.

The NEX level
I purchased this belt again, after using it for a few years, but then mistakingly cut the excess length too short. Since repurchasing this belt, it is without a doubt a very sturdy, and high quality gun belt. I appendix carry a sig p320x and it is pretty rock solid, and does not budge one bit. The belt cinches exactly to wear you want, while still exhibiting a stylish exterior, without looking tactical. My kydex holster is custom made to accommodate a TLR8g flashlight. Pair that with a standard 17 rd mag, its quite a bit of weight on the hips, and this belt handles it wonderfully. Only reason for my 4 star rating, is the comfort. This may not be the belts fault, but with all that rigidity and stiffness, you will have to sacrifice some comfortability. Compared to your standard Walmart belt, your weapon will likely shift more with your body, but it can yield more comfort than these. Again, these belts do what they’re designed to do, and that’s to keep your weapon fixed and stationary for a secure draw, but getting used to the feel might take some time if you’re not used to these types of belts like I was. All in all, these are fantastic belts, and I highly encourage anyone to upgrade to these instead of your standard run of the mill belts. You’ll be happy when you don’t have to readjust your weapon every 5 minutes. I’ll probably end up getting another one in black.
