I’ve been using these Seyer 16 oz gloves for training, and they’ve proven to be a very reliable option, especially for longer, more intense sessions.
One of the standout features is the leather quality. The material feels durable, well-finished, and clearly built to withstand consistent use. After multiple sessions, they still maintain their structure and appearance, which speaks well of their long-term durability.
The fit is another strong point. They adjust very well to the hands, providing a secure and natural feel without unnecessary bulk. This makes a difference during extended training, where comfort and stability are essential.
Despite being 16 oz, they feel surprisingly light. During my one-hour training sessions, even at higher intensity, I didn’t experience the usual fatigue I’ve felt with other brands. That lighter feel translates into better performance and less strain over time.
Impact-wise, the gloves are very comfortable. The padding absorbs well, making each punch feel controlled and cushioned, whether working on bags or pads.
Overall, these gloves strike a great balance between comfort, durability, and performance. For anyone training regularly and looking for gloves that won’t wear you down during longer sessions, these are an excellent choice.
Highly recommended for consistent training use.

I recently picked up a pair of Seyer 16 oz gloves from RingKong, and they’ve exceeded my expectations for training use.
The first thing that stands out is the fit — they feel snug and well-balanced without being restrictive. Once on, they mold nicely to the hand, which makes a noticeable difference during longer sessions.
Despite being 16 oz, they feel surprisingly lightweight. This makes them ideal for training, especially for pad work and general workouts where comfort and mobility matter more than heavy sparring protection.
Comfort is another strong point. The padding feels soft yet supportive, and I haven’t experienced any discomfort even after extended use. Breathability is decent, and overall they just feel easy to wear.
In terms of build quality, Seyer did a great job. The stitching, materials, and finishing all look solid and well-crafted. They definitely give the impression of durability and good attention to detail.
For anyone looking for reliable, comfortable training gloves with a great fit and quality construction, these are a very solid option.
Highly recommended for training purposes.
