Elka Maxi Dress (Chocolate)

I purchased this for an anniversary party with and elevated garden party dress code. I was looking for something elegant that also offered the ability to hide a little tummy. I have gained a little weight, from a 4/6 to an 8/10. I am 5'3'' , short waisted, and around 145-150lbs. I purchased a size 8. THIS DRESS, and wore it with a minimal compression short. Made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. It fits and flares in all the right places, and the waist sash was perfect. Not only did I feel pretty, I was complimented on it all night, and was so comfortable. the colour is stunning. Depending on the light it looks either chocolate brown or a darker mauve? I am a soft summer palette with grey hair and green eyes and it was persfect. I am usually uncomfortable in 'fancy dresses', and this was just a perfect combination of pretty, flowy, comfortable and elegant. I will be purchasing from this brand again as they just won me over. I also didn't wear a bra as it has two layers which honestly was an added bonus. I didn't take a full length picture but here is. a picture of the colour and the top. I also ordered from Canada, and it came in under two weeks.

Dress arrived promptly and was jsut like the photos. Usually a size 12 and the 12 was a perefect fit. Very happy with my purchase.

This dress is just stunning, great quality and feels incredible on. I received so many compliments at the event where I wore it and it is a gorgeous dark chocolate brown!
