Superb piece of kit

2nd jacket from Frahm. Very happy with this one. Fabric is quite stiff but not at all uncomfortable. Brilliant pocket design and number. Enough for everything. Was in rain and wind today - jacket did a great job keeping me dry and warm. Also great colour (I default to blue for most things and this compliments rest of my look).

Yet another jacket !!!

I have docked one star for this jacket,because on its first outing,the zip got stuck and I couldn’t take it off,no matter how hard I tried ! Fortunately,a neighbour came to my rescue and she managed to get her hand down the front of the jacket and managed to free the zip,which had caught on the opposite zip placket. The fabric is so tough that I couldn’t tug the zip free. Still, apart from a red face,no damage done ! I have tried the zip closure several,several times ( jacket off) and can’t replicate the issue,nor can I see how if failed to unzip ! Apart from this mishap,I am delighted with the jacket,particularly the hood and the pocket size,not to mention the gorgeous spearmint green colour. The quality is up to the Frahm customary standard and I like the longer cut ( compared to my original Utility field jacket,plus the brilliant hood design and the waist draw-string ! Once the weather is back to its normal self, I will again don the jacket,making sure that there is a handy friend or neighbour available,just in case there is a repeat performance of said zip !!!!!

I’ve lived through winter in my Frahm Ventile Thermal as it is an amazing jacket but as we entered February I was getting a bit warm on my dog walks and by chance I get an email from Nick and his team advertising this jacket and some availability. So I went for it and I couldn’t be more pleased that I did. The spearmint green is a great colour but the whole design is perfect for this time of year being lighter but still giving you the protection from the great British weather that this time of year brings. I love this jacket and with the ventile thermal I feel I’m set up perfectly now for 3 of the 4 UK seasons .. thank you Nick and your team for your continued dedication in designing jackets that are so beautifully engineered for all environments and situations..
