I used this on a thin mesh motorcycle body armour jacket. I recently did a long trip in hot weather, with no access to washing facilities. I gave it a really good soaking around the armpit and back area, inside and out every evening and left it on a hanger overnight. It helped the stinky pit area from becoming too offensive but by no means eliminated the odour to any great degree unfortunately. . . The jacket was machine washed and clean before the start of the trip.
