Valley Farms Peanut Kernels Wild Bird Food

I’ve been ordering these for a long time now and they are the greatest no-mess shelled peanuts for both birds and squirrels. This last order not great and disappointed. Most of them in the bag are only partially split (like perforated but didnt split during production). My thumbs are about raw spliting them all in 1/2 so the birds can eat them. This is a large bag. Is this how thwy will be from mow on or maybe just prosuction error?
