Just beautiful tea. Umami flavour and matches so well with my soy milk. I love this company and their thoughtful packaging. Such interesting green tea combinations like yuzu and strawberry. This place is absolutely wonderful.

- mossy green w/ slight golden tint - its aroma is sweet and kinda nutty as an usucha - it is naturally sweet, smooth, a bit creamy, mellow umami, no bitterness & astringency, slight nutty/dry finish. as a latte - it is smoother, creamier, umami pops more, less dryness! for me Wakokoro's Yame no Mukashi is smooth, naturally sweet, and easy to enjoy. also great for everyday lattes and super beginner-friendly.

Yame no Mukashi is actually so good as a daily matcha drink. The dry aroma is sweet & vegetal with a creamy aspect to it. As an usucha, it's bitter but umami flavor comes to the surface as you savour it. Now, as a latte! it becomes smooth & creamy - it's quite light but you can taste a gentle nutty flavor and there's a natural sweetness with vegetal notes that linger in your tongue. There's also almost no bitterness & minimal astringency :) This is for those matcha lovers who enjoy a clean and mellow tasting matcha!
