Plastic Hose Clip Driver (Free Gift)

This was a free gift (Black Plastic) with my high pressure rubber hose order. Quite frankly, it was useless, as it got chewed up with the first jubilee clip I used it on. For clarification, the clip used was brand new and the hexagon head was the correct size. Tools like this should be made of metal, not plastic which simply is the wrong material for the duty. Don't waste your money on it, or in my case as it was a free gift, don't depend on it if you're working against the clock.

A knack to using the plastic hose clip driver.

I found that I should have ordered smaller clips and hence had a length of the free end poking through. I soon discovered that I had to hold down the end of the clip otherwise the plastic driver started getting chewed up by the thread. Fine once I'd spotted that.
