MONRO ADVENTURE MA-1 URBAN BLACK, Automatic GMT Worldtimer, 44mm Stainless Steel, Black Dial

I’ve owned a lot of watches over the years and the MONRO ADVENTURE MA-1 Urban Black genuinely surprised me. The build quality feels far beyond the price point — the ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal and overall finishing give it a really premium feel in hand. The GMT and worldtimer functions are actually useful rather than gimmicky, and the design stands out without looking over the top. It has a modern tool-watch feel with enough individuality to avoid looking like another homage piece. Despite being 44mm, it wears comfortably and feels solid without being too heavy. Lume is excellent, and it’s become an easy daily wear for me. My only real criticism is that the supplied straps were too short for my wrist, which was a bit disappointing on an otherwise excellent package. Aside from that, this is an incredibly well thought-out watch and one of the best microbrand pieces I’ve owned.

fab chunky watch

Its a big watch but comfortable on wrist. I prefer a single pass nato strap on mine. However the design is feature packed and rich with interesting nuggets. Details on the dial and the rear are superb.
