Loved coat-disappointing packaging

I loved the coat especially the quality of the design and fabric. It looks so unique with lovely detail. The most shocking and disappointing part of opening the parcel was the poor presentation of the coat. It was in a cheap plastic bag and so wrinkled that I had to spend a long time carefully pressing the creases from it. Other cheaper high street brands post garments boxed with tissue and arrive with very little creasing. I think some thought should go into the packaging considering the cost of the garment.

Poorly stitched

I bought this for a weeklong trip. Three buttons fell immediately after wearing it just a few times. I don’t understand how this could’ve happened on such an expensive item.

Disappointing quality for the price

I bought the Mercedes Bow Reversible Trench as a birthday gift, purchasing well in advance due to limited stock. When it was finally gifted and worn for the first time, the top button was already loose and another button fell off completely almost immediately. For an item at this price point, this level of quality control is disappointing. I contacted customer service and was offered a free repair, which I appreciate as a gesture, but I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect a brand-new, premium item to need repairing before it’s even properly worn. Personally, I would have expected a replacement rather than being asked to send it off to be fixed. It’s put me off purchasing again, as I don’t want to worry whether future items will have the same issues.
