Honest opinion from a real person :)
Honestly, the Pocket Max has performed better than I expected or hoped that it would. I had an issue loading Xbox until I found a third party app that plays it flawlessly without having to use a growser. Other than that, it has been incredible and I've already recommended it to friends and coworkers. Best hadheld for the money!!!

Well designed product that works great for steam in home streaming. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that the speakers seriously suck. No other complaints!

This or O2P
Ergonomics and support over spec-chasing: Selling my O2P for the Pocket Max Having both in hand makes the choice straightforward. I’m selling my Odin 2 Portal. Spec-sheet warriors will inevitably fixate on the $30 price delta to justify the O2P, but that math completely ignores what it feels like to actually hold and play the hardware. The Pocket Max is fundamentally more comfortable to grip, and the full-sized analog sticks are a massive upgrade over compromise nubs for anything requiring real precision. To be clear on performance: yes, the O2P has more raw headroom. If your daily driver usage consists of heavy Switch emulation or pushing the absolute most demanding PS2 titles at high upscale multipliers, the extra muscle matters. But for the rest of the emulation stack, that performance gap is meaningless in actual play. The bigger differentiator is who is standing behind the board. Mangmi’s team actually respects their user base and supports their hardware post-launch. It is the exact antithesis to Arthur’s track record of garbage customer treatment, non-existent software follow-through, and immediate device abandonment the second a new pre-order cycle opens up. Don't buy a spec sheet while ignoring ergonomics and long-term support. Evaluate your actual use case—the Pocket Max is an incredible piece of kit built by a team that actually gives a damn.
