This clip WILL hold your curly hair. I was able to bunch and clip my type 3c/4a hair in its dried wash and go state. Iykyk!

The octopus claw is my favorite purchase from Chunks, hands down. It's strong and holds its shape but feels really gentle on my hair - the ends of the claw arms are rounded so there's no pulling or tugging even when my hair is wet. And it holds so much hair! If you have longer or thicker hair, you need this claw in your life lol. I bought the blossom pattern (super pretty) but I need another color as backup just in case I ever lose it - it's become my go-to hair claw.

The detail in this leopard orchid print is too cute. Love the octopus style too, it holds all my hair comfortably. Due to my autoimmune and dexterity issues, these clips are just a touch too strong for the weakness in my wrists, however that just means it has a sturdy spring mechanism! My hair is long, but definitely on the finer side, and I do think this style of clip would look better on my if I had thicker, fuller, maybe even curlier hair; just my opinion. Other than that, these clips are so well made, beautiful, and worth the price! I recommend for sure.
