Well built but…
When I saw 1620 was releasing these sweat pants I preordered sight unseen.
Everything is the standard of quality I’ve come to expect from their other products I’ve ordered over the years. When they came I immediately washed and dried them 3x to try and take some of the stiffness out. That worked marginally well, definitely not a deal breaker.
The most glaring literal shortcoming of these sweat pants is the comically short waist drawstring. I’m a professional mariner who can tie many different types of knots in lines and the draw string is too short to be able to secure in any way, shape or form. No belt loops either so it’s not like I could put a comfortable elasticized belt on them and get some use out of them. They’ve been in my closet now for a few months collecting dust. I think my only options are to replace the drawstring or have a tailor sew on some belt loops (both options being at my time and cost). Pretty disappointing for the cost of these. Hopefully 1620 will correct these issues in the future and prevent future customers of these sweat pants from the disappointment I’ve experienced with these.

Great sweat pants . My only complaint is the draw string is short and is a small pain . Other than that it’s typical 1620 quality . Strong , rugged build . I’m thinner 6’2 175 lbs . Nice fit . I wouldn’t call them slim . I bought 34x33 and fit well alone or over jeans on a really cold day . If I wanted a more fitted sweat pant I’d go down to a 32 waist as they do loosen between washes. Let’s face it cotton stretched and a simply wash tightens everything back up . 5 stars , best sweats I’ve owned , period . I have 3 pairs.

Absolutely love these pants! Yes, they were big and baggy the first day, but they were so comfortable that I wore them anyway. They fit perfect now after washing and drying as recommended. I look forward to buying a green pair.
