The Core Base - Heavy-Duty Umbrella Base

This is my second purchase of this base. It arrived in a timely manner and assembly was very straightforward. The first base already taught me that it can fairly significant wind gusts.

The core base for my midtown umbrella is elegant and sturdy

The core base that I purchased for my midtown umbrella is an elegant, low key, excellent design that stabilizes the umbrella itself. I would recommend that putting the base together (attaching the neck, the wheels, etc) be a two-person job and assembled on the ground not on a table surface, for safety reasons. It's 30lbs and unforgiving if it falls on your foot. My umbrella and stand are a wonderful addition to the yard, house and property, visually beautiful and provide comfort so that we can enjoy the outdoors, properly shaded, especially during the hotter days.

The base came in a damaged box and when i opened it, it was obvious it had been used and reboxed. There were not instructions and some missing parts. I called to see what could be done and was told I needed to handle it myself by going online. I have limited time so am just using it as is, but it was not a good experience.
