I'm fairly new to the model railway hobby. I started with a YouTube course on programming Arduino's. I'd done pretty much all the recommended projects and was at the 'What else can you do with an Arduino?' stage. DCC Model Railways - came to the fore. So, I build my first Command Station with an Arduino, upgraded to an ESP32 Wroom and have, very recently, decided to bite the bullet and get a CSB1 to see if the reports of the benefits were true. They are - virtually no voltage drop to the tracks, 5 amps available - I sometimes have 7 trains running simultaneously all equipped with HM7000s (most with two) and it runs like a dream. The issues I used to get with trains shorting across points are now a thing of the past. And I have reduced by one the power supplies into the layout. It was probably 3 times as expensive as my DIY version but worth every penny and all in such a small, neat package. The pictures show before and after. Train Driver (in the after picture being run on a grandchild's discarded Kids Amzon Fire (jail broken - not hard) ACI were superb. Price was expected and delivery, packaging etc. was excellent.

Interesting unit - just exploring its capabilities, but looks good and much cheaper than commercial equipment. Arrived as promised and very helpful advice by email.
