Never thought I would love it so much

After receiving it, there was a software update that went smoothly. I charged it and Strat playing with it. You have to look from a certain distance, but that was known to me. And it’s amazing how the quality is then. Remarkable product, that I can only recommend.

Disappointing: Absurd limit of only 10 photos

I bought this product with high expectations, but I deeply regret my purchase. It is unbelievable that a modern device at this price point limits storage to just 10 individual photos in the album. This severe restriction completely ruins the concept of a practical digital frame, forcing the user to constantly delete and upload images. I do not recommend it.

Great little gadget with an extra twist on the digital photo frame

Before we get into the good stuff, first some things you should be aware of: One: To use all the AI functionality, you'll need a subscription that currently costs €4.19/month. Two: The resolution of the frame is fairly low. If you hold the frame as you would hold a book you will be disappointed, but 99% of the time you'll look from further away and the lower resolution is not noticeable. Now on to the good: First and foremost, the AI Art Frame is a solid digital photo frame. It has a long battery life so you don't need a power connection wherever you want to place it. It looks fine and it is "Ikea" compatible, so if you don't like the frame it came with, you can buy another one. The frame itself can hold 10 pictures. If you want more you have to rotate them via the app. The fun stuff is the AI. While you might have your doubts about AI generated images, I loved the option to "remix" existing photos. It is really quick and the results are pretty nice. It gives that extra twist to our family photos. For now the simplicity of the workflow is worth the subscription price for me, but if you don't like that, with a tiny bit extra work, you can use your own AI. Just one additional thing: As far as I could see, the AI Art Frame is not yet integrated into Home Assistant using Switchbot's own integration, but they do publish the API publicly, so I suspect it is just a matter of time.
