Tactical Mount for LITELOK X1

Simple but Strong!

The Tactical Mount arrived quickly with my Litelok X1. Unfortunately it didn't come with instructions, but I quickly found a YouTube Video with how to put it together and mount on my bike. Probably if you were a bike pro you wouldn't need instructions, but I'm no pro so I couldn't have figured it out otherwise. The Mount is really sturdy, it looks great, It's very simple yet clever to use with the X1 Lock. It will make securing my e-bike a breeze. The quality is excellent and I feel this product will last forever.

Solid but no installation instructions

The mount seems solid, both in its attachment to the frame and holding the lock - time will tell if that's the case, as the lock is held purely by friction (but there's a lot). The mounting can adapt to a wide variety of tube profiles, so can be installed virtually anywhere on the frame where there is space. On the plus side it's large and robust, but the downside of the size means it takes a lot of space, so I had to move my bottle holder to accommodate it. It's not possible to remove the lock from the holder without unlocking it, which I suppose is a good thing, but is slightly annoying if you just want to take the lock off for cleaning / maintenance of the bike. It takes a little while to get used to the way of taking the lock out of the mount and putting it back, but once accustomed to it, it's actually very easy. It is let down by the lack of mounting instructions (I was left with two plastic sleeves that didn't seem to be required), so it loses a star.

Great lock

Delighted with purchase. After having my ebike stolen, wanted to make sure i would try and make it as difficult as possible to protect. Very happy with the build quality.
