Camera Lens Protective Glass

I'm on my third one of these in only a few months. For some reason, they keep cracking. I'll admit one of the occurrences happened as a result of a drop, albeit a light drop. The other two were from pressure on the lens cover itself. I was a quality manager in manufacturing for many years, so I know a little thing or two about opening up the tolerances. The recessed areas that allow the lenses to sit inside need opened up a bit to allow the lens to sit perfectly inside. Currently, it seems there is not enough play to allow the full flat portion of the cover to sit flush on the actual phone. As a result, and pressure or even a light drop will crack the lens cover easily.
