I found the Big Blue website while searching for a birthday gift for my neice, who saves octopi in California. I was astounded to learn that each necklace is created from underwater photographs taken of various sealife. She sent me a selfie after she put it on, and the thrill in her face was intoxicating. It is truly stunning, and the cotton cord adds to the natural quality of the piece. I bought this necklace 11 yrs ago while in Cape Coral FLA. Unfortunately on a recent vacation my backpack was taken and alone with it the necklace. I finally googled octopus necklace and found it! I am so happy to have it replaced! I LOVE it!
