Description
Handmade sand casted karabiner “8 shape” is manufactured by a hardware supplier founded in the early 1900s. Only the spring lever is made of steel and plated in solid brass color.

Beautiful and sturdy brass carabiner
Well finished and quite a weighty carabiner for its size because of the material. Does sit well in its place while hanged.
Works great well with vintage and leather materials, but surprisingly well also with modern black X-Pac bag (pic).
Extra credits, if it generates a nice patina over time.
