Kala Strappy Sundress

The Kala dress is truly stunning. The embroidery is absolutely gorgeous and feels elevated and special. The flow and length are perfection, especially if you love a romantic, spell style silhouette. That said, the fit through the top runs quite tight. I’m typically a S/M but usually order a M in spell dresses to give a little more ease and flow. Unfortunately, the medium was very snug through the bodice, and I am not large chested. I had to send it back and am now waiting on a large, hoping it doesn’t end up being too roomy everywhere else. It is also fairly sheer. I personally do not mind that since I plan to add a slip, but at this price point it would have been nice to have lining included. Between sizing up and likely spending another $70 on tailoring to get the fit just right, it does make the investment feel a bit heavier. Overall, it is a beautiful dress. Just be prepared to potentially size up and factor in tailoring if you want a perfect fit.
