Beautiful but not heavy enough

I love this style and have been buying similar for about a decade. In the last few years, I noticed they are lighter and smaller, not in a good way. This makes them more breakable and makes it so they don't sit right in my ear because the bottom is too light to balance out the heavier part on top. This makes the part that belongs in my ear move forward while the bottom part points to the back of my had instead of down like it should. It feels like the balance of the piece has been sacrificed for cost-efficiency. It's a shame because I'd rather pay a bit more for higher quality.
