Tried something new …

I decided that I would try one up pedals bc the red color looked amazing on my bike. First pair was defective and the second pair wore out within a year of hard riding. Back to Shimano pedals I go. They just work perfectly and last forever.

Riding SPD’s since they came out have never failed me, regardless of rock strikes, mud, snow neglect of cleaning they just continue to engage and disengage with 100% consistency. The new multi entry cleat is a nice welcome to just stepping down to engage allowing for easier starts in times your first pedal strike needs be a secure one. The wide platform is very comfortable and supportive under foot and the addition of pins may or may not be a help, but they have not introduced any negative effects. SPD is the only one you should ride.
