Beautifully presented but missing some practicalities

I've been a keen purchaser of Perkulatte's coffee advent calendars. On learning they were not producing one in 2025, I went out to find an alternative. As I was looking for an AeroPress grind, this reduced my options significantly, but YAWN came out top of the pack for me. The calendar was well designed, but the amount of plastic was hard to ignore. The bags themselves were again really nicely designed, but the folds in the bags made it hard to decant the coffee into the narrow AeroPress chamber. While the grind was labelled for aero, it didn't seem quite right. Even with two filters, the coffee was flying through. This may have impacted the flavours, which were quite weak, but I do recognise that I enjoy strong, big-tasting coffee, so it could simply be that it didn’t suit my palate. There's no denying that a lot of thought, care and love has been put into the product, but it didn't quite win me over.

Nice, but missing the wow

Bought this for my other half who asked for a coffee advent calendar, he hoped for variety and to find something new. First of all, the descriptions on the back of the box were frustrating rather than on the packets. He’d take some to work and forget what he was drinking as he didn’t want to spoil the surprise of what was being opened the next day. Some bags dropped to other doors, and some doors had completely the wrong coffee bag behind them. The coffee was nice, and the Christmas wreath in pink was a little bit different too… but the variety and packaging could be so much better.

Absolutely amazing!

This was our second year ordering the coffee beans advent calendar, we loveit! The coffee beans are amazing quality and absolutely delicious and the customer service and delivery is 5 ⭐️ I would highly recommend
