Really wanted one of these when they were announced but couldn't justify it at the full price, Rule 1 too far, but got 20% off on spin n win so snapped it up. Always wanted something foreign looking in 00 but also doesn't look out of place next to a maroon Class 52. Full usual Accurascale spec, desk and cab lights, a very real looking head light, looks like an actual bulb when lit, working fan, a completely invisible (i think) removable roof panel, lots of very fine detail. Super smooth runner out of the box and sounds incredible, this is probably one of their best diesel offerings so far, mightily impressed. If you are on the fence i rekon its worth grabbing it, even at full price

Outstanding!
Solid, heavy, good looking and performing, the sound being in the 'you have to hear it to believe it' category. My third IRM Hunslet and the second DCC fitted, bought after discovering how well the latter (102 blue large logo) performed and sounded, even on DC. The roof grey is too pale even for ex-works and I've not seen a photo which shows the frontal 'revised yellow arc' with the white outline the original 'wedge' certainly carried (but is left off the preserved loco at Cultra); but these are minor gripes.

101 Eagle Maroon with Sound
Fabulous version of the Eagle Hunslet from Accurscale. It used to pass our house close to Donabate Station here in the 1970's and Accurscale have captured the look and sound perfectly. Especially the cold start sound brings back memories. Love that stuttered srat up of the engine. Love the extra detail.of fan moving on the roof! Well done Accurscale
