NIR Hunslet DCC
Just purchased the NIR Hunslet with DCC Sound. I must say this model is absolutely amazing. The sounds are phenomenal. Definitely recommend to all.

Top spec for Northern Ireland!
I am fortunate to own the IRM A class locomotive so I am pleased to report this Falcon is as good as the A class. I can't quite believe that IRM have been able to deliver this small class to market and it's not a dream !.I can pick it up ,poke it but you don't need to prod it as it's equipped with a decent heavy chassis offering reliable performance complete with a lighting and sound package that's as good as anything else on the market . I am indeed very grateful that IRM continue to cater for the Irish enthusiast. Looking forward to other exciting projects.

Wow!
Wonderful, museum-quality model. Has previously bought DC 102 in red arc, small logo blue and was sufficiently impressed to decide to get a DCC 102 in red chevron large logo blue, so as to have the ultimate model of a variant I had photographed (derelict) and scratchbuilt in the early 1990s. I was well pleased to discover that on my DC layout, having swapped my Clipper controllers for a Gaugemaster D, I got a good range of truly outstanding engine sounds, so I won't have to wait for club nights to run on a DCC track to hear the Hunslet in full cry! Outstanding detail packs, with some variation between locos. Great presentation including an insightful, affectionate and fulsomely-illustrated class history brochure. The blue is a little strong even for 'ex-works' and I reckon the white outlines seen in some pics (and on most IRM blue versions) are likely just faded edges showing the white-ish undercoat below red arcs and chevrons, so I'm glad this model has a plain chevron. Lots of detail that I could easily live without for the sake of robustness and cheapness, but I feel privileged to own one...well two, now!
