Although the base had issues, I contacted the team and they were quick to reply, and sent me a new base ASAP! I really love how this product looks and I think it is SUPER unique!

Overall, my experience using the item since receiving it on New Year's Eve (which was a pleasant surprise) has been positive. With respect to the way the glass tubes curve and to the way the lamp stays lit, I'm pleased; they left and the right sides line up perfectly. However, and I suspect this slight defect was the result of a slight oversight during manufacturing. Once the shaft of the glass tubing construction is inserted into the slot in the base and the lamp is looked at not directly but from the side, the glass tubing construction leans - slightly, but noticeably - forward.
