Top Product from a Top Company
Mosko Moto are my supply point of choice for gear. Top quality firbantop price but that is how I roll. I’m a sucker for the best quality I can get. I’m 176 cm tall. My inside seam is 810 mm. My frame is ‘light athletic’ and I try to keep in good shape so that I can keep good health, throw my bikes around and pick up my heavier GS when I mess up. I don’t like being too ‘precious’ with my gear. I own a bunch of Mosko kit including their absolutely fantastic Backcountry Panniers. Nobody does gear better IMHO. The Surveyor Pants (34 regular) were ‘running small’ so I ordered them (again) previously finding the 32s just too snug. The 34s were superb. The Surveyor flexes (especially in the crotch) better than my more restrictive Klim Dakars. The Surveyor breathes where I need it here in the heat of beautiful Australia. The leather knee protection is also superior to Dakar equivalent. Stitching and finishing on the Surveyor is also better than my Klim favourites. I like the ratchet closure on the Surveyor (Klim’s Dakars only have stud closures). Including some elasticity in the waist band area would be a welcome addition to both Dakar and Surveyor Pants. Klim Dakars win the ventilation battle. The Dakars win the pocket access design. That is so easy to access. I’m not sure the elasticity on the Surveyor pocket lining needs to be so stretchy. Any heavy item (knife?) sags slightly. I do pull on the Surveyors more than the Dakars these days. Both are good but Mosko’s Surveyor wins with some ease. In short, Mosko Moto is probably the best you will ever buy but you need to get the fit just right to get that ‘am I even wearing pants’ feeling. Mosko is that good. Yea, they are great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Surprising toughness
I am 5'10", 180lbs and ordered the Surveyor Pant (34) and Workhorse Jersey (M). They fit great, feel great, and protect great. I had an unlucky spill around 15mph on a local trail that broke my ankle and scratched up the motorcycle. Throughout the short slide, the Surveyor Pant and Workhorse Jersey performed above advertised and protected me from any abrasions. Not only that, but there isn't a single rip, seam separation, or hole anywhere in the Mosko Moto gear.

The last pants I’ll ever buy
I grew up riding dirtbikes my whole life and always bought Fox 180 pants because they were cheap and lasted long enough for their price. More recently I started wearing knee braces after an injury. I got the Mobius braces and experimented with just about every pair of pants in the higher end range (klim, leatt) and had various issues - too tight around the brace, get caught up on the brace, too high waisted, not flexible enough, etc. after some research I found Mosko. I watched a few videos and since I ride hard enduro / single track, decided on the surveyor pants. I’m an in between waist. Technically measure to a 31”, so I’m always between 30 and 32 depending on brand. With the note about this batch running small I went with the 32” and they fit absolutely perfect. I’m 5’11”, 165lb. As for the knee brace compatibility, the fabric in the knees is incredible. They fits snug but in no way tight or constraining. Other pants feel too tight and especially when my leg is bent while sitting, feel like they squeeze the back of my knee. The stretch on the knee material cannot be any more perfect. This is the first pair of pants I have found that do not catch at all in the mobius knee braces. The leather at the inner knee is thick and feels really nice quality. All the stitching and materials feel like they are going to last a long time. I can’t comment on durability yet, just rode one day in them. Tan color is also super cool. Will stick with these going forward.
