Perfect Commuting and Fast Pack Bag

I have so far used this bag for my bike commute to work and it was the perfect size to fit my change of clothes, shoes, lunch, water, etc. I then left a lot of stuff at my work to take a long bike ride home, and the bag was really comfortable on that as well. I plan to use this bag to do some hut-to-hut hiking in Europe and think it will also be perfect for that use case! I like that it's a mix of a great day pack but also has the features of a trail vest. I'm excited that I'll be able to carry more gear for the hut-to-hut overnight while also still have a bag that is suitable if I want to trail run. I've always wanted a day pack with vest features, and I finally found one that gets the job done!

Alas, no. I wanted so much for this pack to work for me. The various compartments seem great and I had high hopes it would work for fast packing adventures as well as standard day pack use. Unfortunately the straps are not well placed on my chest and there is a hard lump where the shoulder pads end that puts painful pressure in sensitive spots along my ribs. The size and shape does not appear to be well suited to the female form: the XS/S was close to its smallest limit on me and I'm not that small for a woman (5'5" 145lbs). I love a lot of what Janji does so mostly leaving this review in hopes it'll encourage them to fix these problems!

Backpack of my dreams

I've dreamed of a run commute but transporting my laptop was always the sticking point. This backpack obviously solves that and then some! The backpack has several areas on the straps that can be adjusted, so I felt like I got my perfect fit. I'm 5'9" and went with a size M, and it works great. There's no bouncing, everything I packed stayed secure, there are so many pockets so it was easy to pack and organize literally everything I needed for the day (laptop, notebook, towel, toiletries, change of clothes and shoes). I couldn't love this backpack more!
