Airtex Shade 360 Hat

Fits great and offers plenty of shade. The button in the front is nice to hold it down when it is windy. It would be cool if there was a button on the backside that would allow for the "flaps" to be held up. This would help in humid environments. Hopefully more colors come out soon!

I’ve been looking for a hat just like this for some time. I train for full distance triathlons in the Florida summer and really needed some additional protection after some skin cancer scares. This provides all the protection I need for my neck and ears. The material is very soft and the inner band that goes around your head is very comfortable and doesn’t give you any rashes or itching. I was able to use the tie button that is intended to close it up in the front, for closing it up towards the back and it stayed in place the whole run. An unexpected benefit is that once it was soaking wet with my sweat it actually cooled the back of my neck down and when the wind hit it, it was a very nice feel overall. After doing a middle distance run in the full sun with the heat index reaching over 100 towards the end of the run, I was incredibly thankful I had this hat on.
