Original Series Seat Pad

Sorry have to be brutal on this one . Have currently chose to restore a early rider balance bike for my nephew as I’m very impressed with the build quality however the new seat pads aren’t the same size as the original so the varnish which hasn’t been exposed to light under the original seat pad (which is bigger ) is now visible when the newer smaller seat is fitted an now the wooden seat panel looks like it has a lighter varnish exposed . So now I have to strip again after a new car is a stain with a woodstain a now varnish again . Ok can sound like I’m being petty but was gutted as just a slight change in size an has caused me to spend more time restoring a bike. Also they changed the design which is annoying . However cant complain on the quality which is second to none .
