Wig & Hair Topper Scalp Part Pen

The voluminizing shampoo is great. The pencil is helpful, but I wish it provided a bit of smudge (subtle rooting). Is there a product that you could recommen I might buy else where, which I could use on my Darcy to achieve this effect? Would a powder that is used to cover scalp/ disguise thinness be an idea and safe to use on the topper? Thanks again

It looks fine I’m just not totally sure how to use it. Instructions probably would have been good.
