I don’t fly so good, this thing sure does.
I’m a fairly new pilot. I spent a good amount of time in a couple simulators and wanted something small enough and durable enough to fly indoors, but powerful enough to fly around the back yard. I got quite a bit more than I bargained for. Since I’m a newer pilot, I kinda struggled with the power behind the throttle on this thing, so I ended up cutting it in half on the controller to get a feel for flying inside. Aside from that I didn’t need to do a thing to go from dive bombing the walls to doing flips and rolls in air mode around the bedroom. I’ve had quite a few fast crashes into hard surfaces, it’s held up beautifully. I have had to solder the motor cables back to the motor, and if I can so can just about anyone. I love this thing, it’s helped me tremendously in getting my fundamentals down and it’ll give me twice the power when I want to humble myself and relearn those fundamentals with that extra speed.

Awesome Whoop
Great Whoop out of the box. Rips for a 1S well. My friends were commenting on how well it flies. On the OSD they even talk a bit of smack if you crash which was hilarious and a nice touch which I wont spoil. Great whoop that is well made and rips is the bottom line. Buy extra batteries as you will need them because you won't want to stop flying. The only thing I wish was updated is that the board is still a micro USB connector while pretty much everything else has migrated to USB-C. That is minor because I still have a bunch of micro USB cords but if you don't keep that in mind.

Good flight, okay camera, horrible soldering job
This is my first drone ever. Started flying and I loved it. Had it for about a month now, and I feel like the drone doesn't wanna fly. The motors have 3 wires soldered onto them, that go into the FC/ESC via a plug. Pretty standard I assume for beginner drones, but I have had issues with the soldering. Last week, I hit one of my gates (covered in pool noodles btw), and one of the wires broke free of the solder. Wouldn't fly. Luckily I have a friend who helped me solder it back on, and got it working again while I ordered a soldering kit for myself. Took it out this weekend for indoor flying. Barely bumped a wall and the same thing happened to a totally different motor. I had my rates lowered dramatically since I was flying indoors and it still happened. The soldering kit hasn't came in yet so now I gotta wait since I don't wanna ask my buddy again, I wanna do it myself. Two wires broke free in roughly 6 batteries. This is shoddy work. I expect this kind of work from myself since I've never soldered before, but a drone company? Where's the QA? If you buy this drone, get a soldering kit with it because you're gonna need it.
