Completed the build a couple of weeks ago and it looks stunning ,with all components from Epic they are of the highest quality as always. As a company Epic are efficient and very helpful , customer service is second to none. I fished with the rod on small river it performed well and casted beautifully, caught a nice wild brown trout. I built one of the cane rods a couple of years ago and now I have just ordered my next project 590G 5 weight grapheme .

Fast glass 7’6” 4weight 4 pc

I especially like the accuracy of the rod. Perfect for Eastern Brook Trout and pan fish. I really like the glass rod tube and sock. This was really a great value.

Great 4 weight

Recently built out a 4 weight Epic 7.6’ glass rod. The blank is extremely high quality, and finished out beautifully. The rod is light, “fast with feel”, especially for glass, highly accurate, good in close, and able to reach out for some distance. It’s an ideal stream/small river trout rod. I couldn’t be happier!
