Good idea, execution is not great

The trial is too long when I had this adjusted how it should be and the strap slid over itself and ended up partially over the buckle end of the noseband. I’m going to try a rubber band on the non buckle end and flip the strap around so the tail is coming down under the chin instead of flapping up towards the bit rings.
