Always Great Products
I have received 8 pins with 1 on the way. They are funny informative and always well done. Learn forgotten history about Alice Ball and Rosalind Franklin or just laugh about MTG’s space lasers

About my Alice Ball / Chaulmoogra Seed Enamel Pin
This is a really beautiful pin. Not only is it artistic but it tells the story of a young, bright and intelligent Black professor. I love wearing it! I always look for beautiful art first, but right after that, I want social awareness. This pin does both things and wonderfully. It's stunning and meaningful.

Lovely and informative
As with all the enamel pins from Dissent, the quality is excellent with vivid colors and sharp lines. That the pin also comes with an informative display makes it so much better. I am well informed and did not know Alice Ball's contribution to the world. Now I do. I am gifting the pin to my mom who works with families in Kenya. I expect she will share the story of Alice to show where education can take a young black woman. Having a hero can make all the difference.
