Decent pans but classifier broke on first use and accessories are junk.

I took a gold panning course and this brand was recommended by the instructor. I purchased this kit as it was the only one I could find that would arrive in time. Service from HPP was fantastic. As to the kit: The large and hiking pan work well, although I'll be adding a small hole to the larger pan so I can use a clip on it. The classifier broke on first use which was really disappointing as I am not hard on things. The collection bottles are cheap plastic rather than glass. The combination tweezers and magnifying glass are equally cheap (think Cracker Jack toy) and not useful. I did not use the guzzler bottle. Overall, if you can just get the larger pan, it's good. I do need some classifiers but can't recommend Garrett's.

This is a great gold panning kit. I have already found some nice gold with this kit .It's everything you need to start out panning or if your a avid panner. I would definitely recommend this kit and it's a great price. Thanks High plains prospectors.
