Silver White is my favorite garlic for braiding & I’ve been growing this variety for years! Large cloves, first to sprout, so easy to grow, & delicious.

2nd Chance

First time growing garlic. Because the amount TS provided was generous I get a second chance. Only a few had bug bites so there was very little waste. I put 24 in the ground and it sprouted on me because the weather has remained unseasonably warm this year. I had enough to plant 24 a second time and still a few to munch on. I guess I'll harvest the greens and see how I like those.

Plants

Planted Silver White in Oct mostly plot some in pots. They are coming up. The Elephant garlic was planted also in Oct They have not come up. I don’t expect them until summer rung since they are planted much deeper than the Silvet White
