These leave sticky black residue around the mouth ; the hold is tough . I did not like these .

The design/shape of the tape is very effective and well thought out. However, the tape leaves behind adhesive residue that covers the entire area of where the tape was. Like a heavy duty bandaid residue after you peel it off. We tried it on multiple household members to see if it was a skin sensitivity issue, but the residue was consistent between everyone. If you want a strong effective tape, this will do the job. Just be prepared to rub off adhesive every morning. I do think that is something important for folks to know, and something I would have wanted to see in reviews when I first ordered. After exchanging, the new sensitive skin version is far superior in stretch and no residue, and is now our go to tape for our kiddo:

These work well for my mouth-breathers. Both kids wear it throughout the night - it stays on. And their mouths are closed when they're sleeping. We're doing myofunctional therapy as well, and I think with the combination of the two, I am hoping my kiddos will start to make nose-breathing a habit.
