CFS -Creality Filament System

needs work!

although the CFS system is really good to use, the parts that are used to make this item are cheap in materials! the gears should have been made with metal and NOT plastic! the rollers should have been made with rubber to grab the spools alot better. the units should also been able to accept cardboard rolls as well.. when the CFS is in use you can hear the gears grinding, needs quieter motors.

Wasteful and not time efficient so far

Extremely wasteful and not time efficient. I know I stll have to workout the bugs and fine tune the system. But was not happy about the waste. The sheer volume that is consumed when switching colors is not cost effective and time wasted especially when it was switching between 3 colors. This was a fairly small print with only about 90 minutes out of a 10hr30min of it where color swapping of 3 colors. Over all the printing is amazing and detail is out standing. Just not happy about the waist.I believe I'm going to have buy a filament making/recycling system to recover my losses. this may change over as I gain more insight of the CFS system and it's workings. Again this is just my first impression after only 2 completed color swapping prints. A 4 color benchy and an 4 color Articulated Octopus. Single color printing is out standing using the CFS

Lots of unit problems with filament retraction. The extruder breaks and jams the nozzle 3times already. The CFS unit does not recognize Creality rfid filament. Customer is like talking to yourself.
