I was so impressed with the flavor, freshness and packaging...I'm now a fan for life.....I've been spoiled and I'm never going back to prepackaged teas !!!

mildly disappointed

I've gone through several ! lb. bags of Vahdam tea in the last couple of years and have found it great. I thought I'd give myself a treat to the first flush tea, and brewed it as usual, but found it to be way to mild for my taste. I have since mixed the remainder of the new first flush tea back into the 1/2 lb of second flush I had left and am now getting the tea that I wanted. I would not buy the first flush again at the premium price, but rather settle for the second flush. (all tea mentioned above was Vahdam Darjeeling.) Otherwise, my afternoon or evening tea hopefully will continue to be Vahdam.

Keyword is First Flush

About halfway through my first cup, I realized that I had first flushed my money down the drain and that it is more deserving of the term "second flush" in that, second, I needed to flush the rest of it down the loo. Sorry, this is not representative of what a light, floral first flush should taste like.
