Queen shams

Love the colour and the pattern. The Queen shams are very large - was told that they will shrink down in time with washing. I don’t wash them often, as they are for “show” on my spare bed, and when I do wash them, they are washed in cold water and hung to dry, so there really has not been much (if any) shrinking. The coverlet did come with a couple of pulled threads, but they are not in a noticeable spot. It did demonstrate that I will have to be a little bit careful with the coverlet/shams, when handling/washing, which is a bit disappointing. I had wanted something that would be quite “hardy.” It is very pretty, however, and I do really like them and the “look” it provides.

Not only does my Altea coverlet look beautiful on my bed, but I repurposed the coverlet it replaced (which was a pricey item with only a little wear, so I didn't want to throw it out) as pillow shams. Now the whole ensemble is perfection!!
