Great Unit

The unit is great for someone who doesn't want to set up a full simulator or invest in a gaming computer or tablet to get the unit running or run alternative programs to play. The unit is quite expensive but i think design of having the tablet built on the unit off sets the requirement to buy a computer or tablet, compared to other simulators in the same category. I've only played a few rounds on home tee hero and so far and I have no complaints. I don't care much for the graphics that other programs provide, i just want to improve my game overall. The video recording of impact and the club data is great, letting me know why I either pull, push, slice, or hook the ball. When i first started using the device i though the readings were inaccurate. Where on a actual range, i would hit a 7 iron around 160-170. The simulator said I was hitting about 100-120. I spend a few hours figuring trying to figure it out. It came down to my swing was just that bad on the turf i was using and how fat and steep my shots were. Other than that, I believe all the readings are pretty accurate. One thing I hope garmin will include in a update is providing club impact position in its club data. Right now im just using powder foot spray to see where my contact is. Aside from the unit itself. PlayBetter is a great place to buy the unit. They are pretty responsive and accommodating.
